J1 visas and H2b Visas – Seasonal Jobs 2022
J1 Visa
Most J1 visa employers hire from out-of-country because of the 3 to 5 months employment.
With a J1 visa you can stay up to 1 year depending on your job and contract but most J1 visa jobs are for students (post High School) and its only for 3 to 5 months (Winter and Summer season).
H2b Visa
This Employer List is perfect for Employees that is already in the country and are looking for an extension on the H2b visas or want to go Private and not work through a Agency.
Not all employers hire out-of-country but some do. But most hire in-country and do H2b visa extensions.
Remember with an H2b visa you can stay in the country for up to 3 years without leaving.
H2b visa and seasonal extensions are 6-8 months intervals for 3 years.

- You should get a response within 4-10 working days.
- The employer will then further assist you on what the next steps are.

PS: Not all employers on this list hire H2b and J1, Some only hire H2b and some only hire J1, but most of them hire both.

Hi there, do you know how people obtain their first H2B visa? I’m a Canadian, willing to work literally any type of job and cannot find an employer willing to go through the process, yet here in Florida I see multiple Mexicans working, I’m perplexed at how they all managed to find someone to submit and file for the labor certification. Any help would be appreciated as I just want to start working legally. My wife is on a TN visa and I cant work.
